Easter is almost upon us and signs of Spring are all around – daffodills and other Spring flowers in the garden, lambs in the fields and the sound of birdsong. After the long dark days of Winter our thoughts turn to sunshine and warmth. At this time we like to inject that feeling into our homes. Here are just a few ideas for items that would achieve this easily.

Blog_300315_2The soft green of this Cosenza chair £845 from British design classic Ercol  is perfect for  lightening a room and its retro feel is bang on  trend. A classic piece it wont go out of fashion and  will look good all year round.

We couldn’t help but fall for this small Ribon pedestal side table designed by Renaud Thiry for Roche Bobois £540. It features a metallic frame which is upholstered in split leather. The upholstery comes in a choice of yellow or black for the outside and white, red or black on the inside. For Spring the yellow fits the bill.

Blog_300315_4For an injection of Spring colour into a scheme this Saldo wallpaper from the Levande range by Scion (one of our favourite  brands for wallpaper and fabric) would do the trick £38 per roll.  The colour way shown is Apple/ Ivy/ Pebble. It also has a retro  vibe so would go well with the Cosenza chair above.

The Muscat lampshade £99 from MissPrint adds a pop of orange to any room. Orange accents work well with grey and cream as demonstrated in the shade. We would team it with the Fret cushion in Paprika £19 from John Lewis
